IS YOUR WINE CELLAR PERFECT OR DOES IT NEED WineClima?
A perfect room should be completely underground, well insulated from humidity and preferrably facing north-east. It shouldn't be at the mercy of the changes of seasons or of strong temperature changes: excessive heat, and above all sudden changes in temperature, shorten the life cycle of wine. The ideal temperature ranges from +12 and +16°C. A strong humidity would cause the start of decay and moulds on everything that can rot (labels, wooden shelves, etc.). A low humidity would cause an excessive transpiration of the bottles.
